Cindy McCain Don’t Ask Don’t Tell Flip Flop – Although you will usually see John and Cindy McCain standing shoulder to shoulder on most issues, the “don’t ask don’t tell” policy that the military currently has in place is one that they definitely split on.
The senator’s wife has said that she believes the policy is unfair and should be no longer active. So far John McCain has blocked a repeal of this policy, saying that before he moved forward on the issue he wants some more time to study reports from the Pentagon.
Those who are following the controversy with the couple can’t help but wonder if it will make things just a little bit awkward on Thanksgiving when having dinner together.
