CA: USC Students to Walk Across America for Gay Rights

Written by scott on January 27th, 2011

On Tuesday, Feb. 1st, 2011, the City of West Hollywood is giving a warm send-off to a group of USC students who’ll be walking across America for gay rights.

The group will be traveling from Venice Beach to Boston Harbor, covering a distance of 4,000 miles over the course of seven months.

A.J. Goodrich, who came up with the idea, sees this walk in the spirit of the civil rights marches, and hopes it will motivate people to join the group for a mile or for a day to show their support for gay rights.

Would be proud to walk with them if they are going through Ohio. Is there a way to find out and get their route? Just moved from Iowa where, for the moment, we have won that battle.
