Yesterday saw the official launch of MyMarriageStory.com.au as part of the Real Families, Real Stories campaign. The website allows people to tell their own stories about why marriage equality matters personally to them, whether they are in a same-sex relationship or simply support marriage equality.
Marriage inequality doesn’t just affect couples who cannot get married, but it affects their families, their friends and the whole community, says Alex Greenwich, National Convenor of Australian Marriage Equality.
“Everyone’s marriage story is unique, and this website aims to show that every story is special and should be treated equally,” Greenwich said.
