Swedenborgian Church, San FranciscoImagine the dance of light from candles and wood burning fireplace in the chapel, a beautiful landmark venue and flower filled garden, the perfect ceremony, the perfect day. We invite you to celebrate your special occasion at the Swedenborgian Church, located in famous Pacific Heights, San Francisco and designated an historic landmark.

Our caring minister, talented musicians and hostess are available to make your celebration special. Our cozy Parish House is available for your reception.

Built in 1895 in Pacific Heights by a coterie of artists, architects and spiritual seekers, the historic Swedenborgian Church is rustic and charming in the Arts and Crafts tradition. There’s a huge brick fireplace inside and, lit with candles, the interior is exceptionally beautiful and serene. Floors, walls and ceilings are wood, and the arching overhead beams are good-sized madrone tree trunks. In lieu of conventional pews, handmade Mission-style maple chairs are provided.
