Minnesota, USA: Religious Leaders Speak Out Against Marriage Equality Ban

Minnesota Marriage Equality Fight120 religious leaders of diverse faiths announced the formation of the Clergy United for All Families, a new group which would work to defeat a proposed marriage amendment on the November ballot in Minnesota.

The anti-gay amendment, which is supported by the religious right and the Roman Catholic Church, would define marriage in the Minnesota state constitution as between one man and one woman and kill any possibility of marriage equality in the state.
