Pennsylvania, USA: Marriage Equality Talk Tonight With Evan Wolfson in Pittsburgh

Evan Wolfson, who grew up in Squirrel Hill and went on to spearhead the national marriage equality movement, will be back in town Thursday for a free talk at the City Theatre about winning the freedom to marry and what’s next for Pennsylvania.

Mr. Wolfson, an attorney who was named by Time Magazine in 2004 as one of the 100 most influential people in the world, will speak from 7 to 8 p.m. at the theater, 1300 Bingham St., South Side. He has authored the book “Why Marriage Matters: America, Equality and Gay People’s Right to Marry.”
