Maine, USA: Spaghetti for Marriage Equality

Written by scott on October 17th, 2012

Former Governor John Baldacci has openly supported same-sex marriage since we last saw it on the ballot in 2009. Wednesday night he held the first of two spaghetti suppers to spread the word on the need for marriage equality.

Governor John Baldacci said, “You got to make sure that people get out there and realize how important their vote is. This is part of keeping the pressure up and energize the people to get out there and continue to call, write letters, give rides to the poles, fill out absentee ballots.”

Former Governor Baldacci served plates of spaghetti and chatted with voters to encourage them to vote yes on Question one.
