The Equality Maryland group will be hosting a Chocolate and Wine Social on October 11, at Hotel Palomar, located at 2121 P. Street, NW, beginning at 5 p.m. The event will be in support of the controversial issue on marriage equality.
In attendance will be Chrysovalantis P. Kefalas, Michael Kosmas, Tony Caligiuri, and Roger Whyte, II.
In February, the Maryland House of Delegates voted in favor of House Bill 438, the Civil Marriage Protection Act, which allows committed gay and lesbian couples to marry in the state.
