Written by scott on October 22nd, 2012

Performers from Broadway musical ‘Wicked’ will take to the stage to support marriage equality.

The National Touring Company will host The Songs We Sing…For Good, an evening of cabaret solo performances and duets on Oct. 29 at the Neptune Theatre. The event will feature cast and crew members of the company performing an evening of music and dance. The net proceeds of this event will benefit Washington Marriage Equality.

Produced by company members, the evening is an opportunity for them to step out of their roles in the musical in music, dance and comedy; and will feature principal company members, as well as members of the ensemble and the touring staff.

Guests can participate in a silent auction of items including Wicked memorabilia, and a live auction of several opportunities to join the company backstage at the Paramount Theatre during their run, including a chance to bid on a walk-on role to be in Wicked.
