The Greens introduced a marriage equality bill into State Parliament this morning.
Greens MLC Lynn MacLaren said the bill would allow same-sex marriage, including the authorisation of celebrants and the registration of same-sex marriages.
Ms MacLaren said the new laws would end years of discrimination against homosexual people.
