A new Retail Association of Nevada poll out in Nevada shows surprisingly strong support for repealing the state’s ban on same sex marriage, LGBTQ Nation reports:
The poll, commissioned by the Retail Association of Nevada (RAN), and conducted last week by Public Opinion Strategies of 500 likely voters, found that 54 percent of respondents would favor removing the Protection of Marriage provision from the Nevada Constitution; 43 percent were opposed. The measure passed in 2002 with almost 67 percent of the vote. Only those identifying themselves as deeply conservative were against repealing the provision — by 76 percent.
A 24% point flip in just 11 years – that’s amazing. What happens next?
