Written by scott on March 26th, 2013

Paris, FranceA French far-right politican thinks the gay marriage bill there is likely to pass, but plans a court challenge. Joe.My.God reports:

In the end, things should balance out between the two sides, and the bill will pass. The bill will pass in both houses. Nevertheless, we’re pinning our hopes on an appeal to the Constitutional Council. We have very strong legal arguments to prove the unconstitutionality of the bill.

And organizers of the disastrous anti marriage equality rally Sunday in Paris are disputing media claims that 300,000 showed up:

The organizers of yesterday’s hate march in Paris are blanketing social media today with attendance claims almost five times that of the official estimate issued by the government. NOM has already trumpeted the 1.4M figure in press releases and on their blog.

NOM has a long history of fudging facts and figures. We’re gonna go with the 300,000 count.
