New York, USA: Coffee Shop Unwittingly Stirs Up Controversy With Marriage Equality Symbol

Written by scott on March 29th, 2013

New York Coffee Shop - Marriage Equality SymbolismA New York City coffee shop posted a marriage equality symbol and drew the ire of a number of its clients, Pix 11 reports:

It has to do with the shop’s chalkboard sign that the owner, Mary Cantor, says displays the business name and the marriage equality symbol. “Someone contacted us on Facebook saying they’d no longer be patronizing our shop and told others not to as well,” Cantor said… “You just lost two customers with your politicized sandwich board. Alienating the majority of the population is a really irritating and dumb move. We will encourage others not to patronize your business.”

the coffee shop will not out of business. remember there are more now who support marriage equality. in NYC?! it will not be a problem.

Equality for all means exactly that! Obviously the woman (i`d say lady but anyone can derive that this politically correct reference failed to exemplify lady like characteristics) that objected would surely take sides with the KKK or other racist & bigoted groups. Want to see the Stock Market sore to never imagined heights? Watch the profound positive effects on the economy that passing Marriage Equality for ALL will have! It would be a prudent move for ALL business` to take there que from this coffee shop!
