USA: Rallies at the US Supreme Court

Written by scott on March 26th, 2013

US Supreme Court RallyThere are both pro and anti-marriage equality rallies going on in Washington DC right now. Heres what we’re hearing:

Joe.My.God has a live feed at the court.

CSpan is running one too.

Towleroad.com reports that the crowd has overflowed Supreme Court Plaza:

United for Marriage tweets that the Supreme Court plaza cannot contain the crowds assembled for the marriage hearings. Overflow is being moved to the Capitol lawn across the street.

And that’s before the NOM anti-gay march arrives.

Rex Wockner has some photos of the good guys.

Speaking of the hate march:

Here’s the first photo of NOM’s hate march underway. They’re on their way to the Supreme Court. NOM President Brian Brown is standing just behind the word “DESERVES”.

Our old nemesis, NY state Senator Ruben Diaz, is bussing ‘em in from NYC. Joe.My.God reports:

New York State Senator Reverend Ruben Diaz (D-NY) will lead the all-night vigil of thirty (30) buses sponsored by the National Organization for Marriage bound for Washington, D.C. to join the March for Marriage demonstration in front of the United States Supreme Court on Tuesday, March 26, 2013. The thirty (30) buses filled with Pentecostal ministers and members of the New York Hispanic Clergy Organization will depart from various locations in New York at midnight, and gather at 9:00 AM in front of the United States Supreme Court.

More to come.
