Even in Idaho, LGBT rights are advancing. Moscow, Idaho just passed an LGBT-inclusive ordinance, as LGBTQ Nation reports:
The council passed the ordinance Monday by a vote of 6-0, amid protests by Mayor Nancy Chaney and some residents who say they were not given a chance to comment on the proposal. Councilman Dan Cascallen says the panel had received volumes of emails and felt it had taken enough public opinion.
But apparently at the state level, the legislature still refuses to provide even basic protections for its LGBT citizens. Maybe once enough cities get there, the state will, too?
