We’ve got a couple new stories coming out of the National Organization for Marriage today. First off, leader Brian Brown is claiming that the delay in Illinois proves that marriage equality is not inevitable. On Top Magazine reports:
“Together these heroes for marriage did what few thought possible – defeating gay-marriage advocates and their supporters in the legislature in the bluest of blue states. Let that be a lesson to all the politicians and journalists (and the occasional dispirited pro-marriage advocate) out there who are tempted to buy the lie of ‘inevitability.'”
Will he eat those words once Illinois does finally approve marriage equality? Or will he conveniently forget them?
And if you’re looking for anti-gay graphics on Pinterest, you’re in luck – NOM now has their own Pinterest page. Joe.My.God reports:
If you’re having a hard time finding anti-gay graphics, NOM has created a Pinterest page.
Right-wing scrap bookers everywhere are cheering.
