USA, NY: Cardinal Blames Marriage Equality Losses on Poor Marketing

Written by scott on November 30th, 2013

New York Catholic Archbishop Timothy DolanCardinal Timothy Dolan thinks the marriage equality fight has been all about marketing, and his side has lost.

Gay Star News reports:

When it comes to gay marriage, New York Cardinal Timothy Dolan thinks the Catholic Church has been ‘out-marketed.’… ‘I think maybe we’ve been out-marketed, sometimes,’ the influential cardinal said. ‘We’ve been caricatured as being anti-gay. When you have forces like Hollywood, when you have forces like politicians, when you have forces like some opinion-molders that are behind it, it’s a tough battle.’

It’s not a caricature if it’s true. And I like that idea – hate is out-marketed by love.

Cardinal Dolan is totally anti-gay and he should be ashamed of himself…

  2. Michael says:

That’s the same thing the greedy conservatives said about losing the last two US Presidential elections when in fact in all these cases, their policies are immoral. THAT’S the problem.
