Seriously?Here’s the the latest in our ongoing series of some of the crazy things the anti-gay, anti-marriage equality folks are saying and doing around the world.

You Can’t Marry Because We Love You
Utah AG Sean Reyes assures us that “we are not motivated by hate, we are not targeting out of animus or any sinister motives particular individuals or families in Utah” in opposing the right of same sex couples to marry in Utah. Can’t you just feel the Christlove as the AG tries to block couples from marrying and adopting kids?

Gays Are Forcing Children to Give Up Their Mothers and Fathers
An opponent of marriage equality at a Salt Lake City rally tells a reporter: “it rings a little bit hollow to tell children that you need to give up a mother and a father in order for us stand on the right side of history.” Nevermind that these kids are already with same sex parents, and banning their parents from being married does not change that.

Here Come the Gay Supremacists
A black tea party supporter, Mary Baker, says “Gay Supremacy is becoming a monster that carries greater evils than white supremacy ever did.” Because there are more anti gay people than there were blacks, or something like that. She should be ashamed of herself – anyone who has been the subject of rank discrimination that turns around and supports discrimination against another minority group has lost their own moral standing.

Gay is Not OK (And I Have a T-Shirt to Prove It)
Some students in regon marked the Day of Silence, a day against bullying, with a little bullying of their own, wearing shirts that said Gay is Not OK, some with crosses. Was anyone, anyone wearing shirts that said being Christian is not OK? I didn’t think so – so who’s the bully here?

I’d Go to Dinner With Gay Sinners Anytime
The winner of the Masters, Bubba Watson, re-iterated his belief that gays are sinners. “[If] any person that was gay called me, I’d go to dinner with them any time. It’s just my belief system on the Bible says you can’t be gay. That’s a sin. So somebody living in sin I believe to be wrong.” I’m not sure that any of those “sinners” would want to go out to dinner with him.
