April 3, 2010 marks the one-year anniversary of the historic Varnum v. Brien ruling that cleared the way for gay and lesbian couples to marry in Iowa. To celebrate the one-year anniversary, One Iowa is planning a week of events, beginning with press conferences in Des Moines and Iowa City and culminating with an Anniversary Gala on April 3, 2010 in Des Moines.
