TV: The TV show “Teen Wolf” will get two new gay characters this season. full story


USA: “The Fosters” this week included a same-sex kiss which is believed to be the youngest ever portrayed on screen. full story

Cuba: An LGBT activist is among the Cuban human rights advocates with whom House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and other members of the U.S. House of Representatives met during their trip to the country last month. full story

Falkland Islands: The Falkland Islands will reportedly legislate to introduce civil partnership legislation in the near future. full story

Iraq/Syria: ISIS has released yet more images of another man being thrown from a building for being gay, before being stoned to death. full story

Slovenia: LGBT rights opponents have vowed to push for a public vote to repeal the new marriage equality law. full story

Uganda: The “kill the gays” bill is back, but this time it faces increased opposition from LGBT activists and allies. full story

UK: A Nigerian lesbian fighting for asylum in the UK after being sentenced to death under sharia law in her home country. full story

UK, Scotland: A petition which urged politicians to redefine adultery to take into account same-sex marriage has been rejected by Members of the Scottish parliament. full story

USA: An impressive array of Republicans and Gen. Stanley McChrystal will be filing an amicus brief on Friday in support of marriage equality with the Supreme Court in DeBoer v. Snyder. full story

USA: One of the signatories is right-wing funder David Koch, best known for pouring hundreds of millions of dollars into campaigns to elect Republicans to political office each cycle. full story

USA: The Human Rights Campaign announced that 207,551 Americans from all 50 states, as well as Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa and the U.S. Virgin Islands have joined as signatories on its unprecedented “The People’s Brief” in support of marriage equality. full story

USA: More than 200 mayors across the country have signed a brief in support of marriage equality. full story

USA: BiLaw, the first ever national organization of bisexual-identified lawyers, academics, law students, and their allies in the US, is filing an amicus brief in favor of marriage equality. full story

USA: Psychology Today has been criticised by the Human Rights Campaign for allowing listings promoting the controversial practice of gay conversion therapy. full story

USA: Psychology Today told HuffPost that the magazine will bot remove those quacks from the magazine’s directory, basically because their money is as green as anyone else’s. full story

USA: Matt Barber is warning that gays will use a potential marriage equality ruling on marriage equality as a “sledgehammer” to destroy the Church. full story

USA: According to new data from the Pew Center, 61 percent of Republicans under thirty support gay marriage. full story

USA: Possible Presidential Candidate Ben Carson (R) said prisons prove being gay is a choice because people go into prisons straight and come out gay. full story

USA, California: A California man would like to make it legal to shoot “any person who willingly touches another person of the same gender for purposes of sexual gratification.” full story

USA, Florida: A House subcommittee is considering a bill to ban transgender people from using restrooms that align with their gender identities. full story

USA, Nebraska: The 8th Circuit Court of Appeals is expected to decide by Monday whether or not to issue an emergency stay of a Federal Judge’s marriage equality ruling. full story

USA, Nebraska: Archbishop of Omaha George Lucas is NOT HAPPY about this week’s marriage equality ruling. full story

USA, New York: A First Circuit appeals court reinstated claims against Bank of America Corp by a former bisexual call center employee who says the harassment she faced when she began dating a female coworker led to her termination. full story

USA: A House judiciary committee scheduled debate for today on a “right to discriminate” bill, which cleared the Senate last week. full story

USA, Pennsylvania: Andrea Anastasi reports on the work that’s still left to be done on LGBT rights in the state. full story

USA, South Dakota: A measure that would have required transgender students to use the sex on their birth certificates to determine the sports team they played on was defeated by a South Dakota Senate committee Tuesday, but another bill on the issue is being considered later this week. full story

USA, Texas: On Texas Independence day, five Democratic state senators introduced an omnibus LGBT rights bill that is the first of its kind in the state’s history. full story

USA, Utah: Lawmakers from both parties, Mormon Church leaders and local gay equality advocates are expected to announce a bill to protect both the LGBT community and religious opponents from discrimination. full story

USA, Washington, DC: Vice President Joseph Biden will address the annual HRC Spring Equality Convention. full story
