The grand architecture of the Old Red Museum is sure to make a stunning impression. From the moment your guests arrive they will take pleasure in this unique and historic building. Old Red features grand entryways made of marble and stone along with a soaring four-story staircase, which welcomes the bride and groom’s friends and family and serves as the perfect setting for tossing the bouquet.
The Great Hall features refined architectural amenities, including 20-foot ceilings, graceful arches, chandeliers and traditional Victorian color schemes making it the ideal setting for your wedding reception. This spacious area can accommodate up to 300 (seated) or 400 (standing) guests with ample space for buffets and dancing.
Just down the hall, there are two additional rooms for ceremonies. The Hatton W. Sumners Courtroom is fully restored to its original 1892 elegance and can hold up to 120 guests for your ceremony. For a more traditional wedding, the Restoration Room offers an area with the ceremony taking place in one of Old Red’s turrets. The Restoration Room can hold up to 250 guests.
Also located on the fourth floor is a private bridal suite with ample space for the bride and bridal party to prepare. The museum level is a great area for your guests to enjoy appetizers and cocktails while the bride and groom are taking their post-nuptial photographs.
